Events Update :-
Since our Closing Meet on 25th April and our Hunters Sale on 16th May, life at Kennels has quietened considerably and everyone has had a well deserved rest.
The long term investment in this pack is beginning to come to fruition, as this year the old pack plus new entries born last Spring (2009), will total 10 and 1/2 couple.
Three litters have been born this Spring and pups will be entered in 2011 season. You will be able to see these young hounds at the Shows this summer.
Meanwhile, our other 4 legged youngsters have been brought in, some for haltering and others for breaking and meeting hounds. Time spent with them this summer will determine their suitability for the Hunting Field.
Other work continues :- rugs repaired and re-conditioned, saddles reflocked and just general maintainance ensues, with regular debate about the best meets of the last two seasons echoed around stables, in an attempt to influence Master Robert Thomas, on the forthcoming seasons Meets !

Already some great successes, with Cathie Nunn and Lola, winning at Croeslan Hunter Trials and our Hunt Cup going to Rhianon Mason riding Ffosway Free Spirit, for overall best hunter in the Ridden Working Hunter Classes at the Tivyside Riding Club's Family Show.
We would be delighted to hear of all your successes throughout the summer.
Looking ahead in June :-2010 is Ceredigion's opportunity to host the ROYAL WELSH SHOW and many fundraising events continue.
We are supporting one of the planned events - a presentation of the County's Welsh Cob Studs on Saturday 19th June, and in the south of the County it is @ Trefaesfawr, nr. Beulah, Newcastle Emlyn at 11.00 am.
(From Newcastle Emlyn travel towards Beulah, turning left at the Post Office and the Show Field is approx. 1.5 miles on left. Signs will be posted on the day).
